         Don Carlos Sofia CEC is a 2005 chestnut stallion. He is by Vencedor de Ropa and out of Barbarela del Cardo. His foaling date is April 21, 2005. Don Carlos looks just like his sire with long legs and lots of hair! He won 3rd in Conformation at the Mason Dixon Futurity in June 2007. He is a true Performance Stallion with lots of action on the front with a definite dressage look. He won numerous Regional Performance classes as a three year old. In 2009, Don Carlos was the 4th National CH A/O Performance 4 Year Old Schooling Colt; 4th National CH 15 - 17 Youth Performance Colt and the 2009 High Point 4 Year Old Performance Colt. He also earned a Legion of Merit. As in 2011, Don Carlos had another successful showing at the 2012 Nationals, having earned: National Champion Performance Youth Ages 16 - 17 and Honorable Mention Performance Amateur Owner Stallions. He was named the 2012 High Point Performance Stallion (he also earned this honor in 2011). In 2013 he earned an Honorable Mention in Pleasure Youth 13 - 15 and was National Champion in the Largo Race. Don Carlos was, once again, the Grand National Champion in the Largo Race in 2014!
